Dynamic Body Balancing
Dynamic Body Balancing is a whole body approach to alignment and movement patterns. As a mixture of craniosacral and myofascial therapy, it addresses structural imbalances in the body including the spine, muscles, fascia and energy systems. It aims to create balance across multiple aspects of the body and to promote the body’s natural ability to heal itself. DBB incorporates a combination of gentle touch, manipulation, and guided movement to realign the body, release tension, and correct misalignments. The approach tends to be more integrative, addressing the body in a more comprehensive, dynamic way—considering how movement, posture, and energy are interrelated.
This differs from other modalities of craniosacral therapy. Rather than focusing only on the craniosacral system and subtle adjustments to the central nervous system, DBB is a broader approach. Dynamic Body Balancing works with the body’s entire structure, energy and movement patterns.
Kayla is our facilitator on site and specializes in pediatrics, especially those with oral restrictions (tongue/lip ties) due to her background as a previous pediatric dental hygienist.

Tummy Time
“He has started doing tummy time without fussing and is actually able to lift his head up happily. He even took a nap on his belly for the first time, I was so thrilled! We are so grateful for his apparent progress already!”

Pregnancy, Post Partum, and Baby Care Success
“I’ve been a patient at Kadin Family Chiropractic since 2019 when I experienced sciatica during my first pregnancy and remained a patient through two additional pregnancies and births, most recently in August 2024. My second baby experienced shoulder dystocia during delivery, which was a bit of a traumatic experience, and I saw Dr. Kat for my own physical recovery postpartum and brought my son for adjustments due to limitations he had with turning his head and preparing for a lip and tongue tie revision. Separately, I also had my son visit a craniosacral therapist. That was my first encounter with craniosacral therapy where I witnessed the benefits it can have on my child along with chiropractic care.
Being pregnant with my third child, I had learned that my baby was in the less ideal occiput-posterior position. I was constantly worried about the baby’s size and positioning because I wanted to avoid repeated shoulder dystocia. In the third trimester, Dr. Kat informed me that she had recently hired Kayla Sisti as a craniofacial and myofascial therapist, and recommended I try it for further support in managing the baby’s positioning. I jumped at the opportunity because I saw firsthand how craniofacial therapy helped my son and I was curious how it could help me. Plus, it was an added benefit that I could conveniently receive chiropractic and craniofacial care all in the same place!
So, I had a handful of sessions with Kayla during my third trimester and it was so gentle yet surprisingly powerful. During every session I could feel my baby make larger and longer movements, which signaled to me that we were likely creating more space to optimize her positioning. I vividly remember the relief I felt too when Kayla made a gentle round ligament stretch; I didn’t even realize there was tension there but Kayla had a way of finding all the right spots. There were also unwinding movements I experienced in my hips and neck that felt like the best release of tension; my body was somehow magically doing the work with Kayla’s facilitation. None of my sessions ever felt invasive or painful and Kayla was always gentle, approachable, asking for feedback, and ensuring I was comfortable.
I was happy to report to Kayla and Dr. Kat that my delivery was fast, smooth without complication AND my baby presented perfectly in the optimal occiput-anterior position! I really do believe the regular sessions I had with both Dr. Kat and Kayla contributed to an easy, successful delivery.
Postpartum, I noticed almost immediately that my baby was not latching properly for breastfeeding and was clicking causing me nipple pain. A ENT specialist and lactation consultant recommended trying craniofacial therapy ahead of a potential tongue tie revision. I immediately reached out to Kayla and Dr. Kat and they have been part of our care team since Natalia was three weeks old before and after frenectomies. Kayla has been super empathetic and is great at letting the baby lead. She knows babies are unpredictable and is able to modify treatment around nursing sessions, the baby’s need for movement, a diaper change, or spit-up. Everything is super gentle and non-invasive. I have never worried about my baby being in pain under her care. It is amazing to see my baby respond to Kayla’s treatment during the sessions because you can tell when they are having a release and just seem to be getting a really nice stretch or feeling more calm and relaxed.
It has also been super convenient to have both chiropractic and craniofacial sessions all in the same day and place where the providers can easily exchange notes and assessments for integrative care. This is a huge benefit! Natalia is now 3 months old and it is rewarding seeing the progress she is making. I highly recommend Kadin Family Chiropractic as an integrative team to support both pregnant moms and their babies while in utero as well as post-partum.”

Gentle, Adaptive Care
“Kayla was absolutely phenomenal! She is kind, caring and patient while working with you and your little one to provide a safe and comfortable space.
Before she even starts, she makes sure your little one is comfortable in the room. There were some toys my daughter was upset by and Kayla would hide them during our sessions. She would then ease into the body work and adjust as needed or take a break if my daughter needed that. The entire session was guided by my daughter’s comfort. We saw improvements from the very first session and were amazed at how quickly the issues were resolved. We cannot recommend Kayla enough and will definitely be seeing her again if other issues arise. You’re in the best of hands with her.”
